“For many Catholics the Bible remains a mystery. Our pastor, Father Bruce Powers, would like to help you understand the Word of God. It is the source for our understanding of the God who made the universe, and at the same time loves each of us personally. He will be offering a two hour per week chance for you to come to know this God of love. He will be teaching on Saturday afternoons from 1 PM-3 PM in the rectory meeting room. Due to the weather on Saturday, January 7 the first class was cancelled. Therefore, the introduction to the New Testament will begin Saturday, January 14, and continue for five weeks ending on February 11 2017. Please bring your own Bible. You can purchase a paperback version of the New American Bible - Catholic edition, online. They are about ten dollars each.
The donation for the course is twenty dollars. Please contact the rectory soon to register. The class will be limited to twenty-five students.”
